About me and my work
I am an energetic Bermudian.
I work with a large range of media from soft pastels, water colours to oils & wax. I particularily like working with wax & oil mixing the both media. These result in the use of vibrant colours & unusual shapes.

I have a feel for painting dogs & horses but like using either watercolour or pastels when doing these subjects.
At present I am concentrating on using oil & wax this entails just feeling your way & spending time looking at shapes to see what form they may take. They are works from the heart & my observations of what is around me. Mood can play a large part I know a couple of times I started with a black canvas adding colour which had pleasing results & turned out very effective.
Working like this has insprired me to put words to the painting although sometimes the words come first.
My hope or aim if you like is to inspire others & give encouragement through my pieces of work. Perhaps a pause for thought.
Portfolio pages contain some works of art that were exhibited in Bermuda at the beginning of 2008. The exhibition there was successful for getting me known on the Island, most of the sales happened after the event. I have recently uploaded my new paintings. I hope you find them interesting.
